Isaiah - The Messiah
Handel’s “Messiah” has been sung and loved for over 275 years. More than any other Old Testament book Handel used quotations from Isaiah to paint his portrait of the Messiah. This Christmas, as we study those texts and stare with him at Isaiah’s foretelling of Jesus, we too should come to sing “Hallelujah!”
